    Near the state parks

    Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, Sam’s Point and Lippman Park are 2 to 3 miles away, and passes to the state parks in the area come with the house.

    A pool, a hot tub, a fire pit

    The pool has a built-in sundeck and warms to 75–85°F in the sun. The hot tub sits in the wrap-around deck, a few feet from the door. The fire pit is ringed with Adirondack chairs.

    Hosted from Kerhonkson

    Limor lives in Kerhonkson and can put you in touch with a farm-to-table caterer or arrange a private tour of the valley’s vineyards, distilleries and breweries.

The space

The space

The living room is the social hub of the house: a 16-foot sectional, a wood-burning fireplace and a 70-inch TV under a pitched cedar ceiling. The open-plan kitchen and dining room seats eight at the table and three more at the bar, and opens onto the wrap-around porch.

The primary suite has a king canopy bed, windows on two sides of the property and its own en-suite bathroom. Three more bedrooms each have a queen bed; the fifth has six single beds.

Outside, the oversized deck holds the hot tub and a hammock, and looks over the lawn to your own woods. The pool is 20 by 46 feet with a built-in sundeck. There is a game room with ping pong and air hockey, and a fire pit for evenings.

Entry is keyless. Your access code arrives before check-in, so there are no keys to collect.

A maximum of two pets allowed ONLY with prior approval, we do not accept all animals. Additional fee of $100 per pet, per stay will apply if and only when the pet is approved. Without prior approval, additional pets and guests will be breaking our house rules. We encourage you to enjoy the fireplace responsibly, but open flames in any other areas of the house are absolutely prohibited. For example, candles or cigarettes. Expressly NO SMOKING indoors. Please be considerate and dispose of your cigarette butts when smoking outdoors. No parties. No illegal drugs. No fireworks.

Good to know

  • The pool reaches 75–85°F from the sun at no charge. Heating above that is available for $125 a night; ask when you book or during your stay.
  • Up to two pets, only with prior approval: $100 per pet, per stay.
  • Additional guests need prior approval and carry an additional fee.

The area, noted

Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, Sam’s Point and Lippman Park are 2 to 3 miles from the house: hiking, lakeside swimming, waterfalls, cross-country skiing, and the leaves in autumn.

For skiing and snowboarding, Windham Mountain is about 54 miles away, and Hunter and Belleayre about 45.

Ellenville is 8 miles away, New Paltz 15 and Kingston 20.

We can connect you with a local, award-winning farm-to-table restaurant for anything from a catered dinner to stocked breakfasts, local cheeses and steaks to cook yourself, and recommend a private wine tour of the Hudson Valley’s vineyards, distilleries and breweries for groups of two or more.

You will need a car to explore the countryside.
